The year 2007 saw the publication of the first edition of «Houses from El Cabanyal», that offered, with the photos of Anna Fornes and Rosario Faet, the cataloguing and condition of the tiles houses that are a symbol of El Cabanyal's popular modernism. The book was important for raising awareness of the immense urban and architectural heritage that is at stake in El Cabanyal. However, it was necessary to re-edit and update it. This is the reason for this second edition in which Germán Caballero has photographed all the houses again, and that includes texts of researches Joan V. Pascual, Pep Martorell and Joaquim Díez, architect Vicent Gallart, journalist Sergi Tarín, and the professor of Fine Arts Jaume Chornet. Felip Bens has coordinated this edition. The book quickly sold out.
